It's Friday already and it will be time to head out to La Mars tomorrow to start Ragbrai on Sunday. It will be a great year, nice and warm and nice and flat. Kind of like a griddle. As the pig said on the 100 degree day, I'm going to be Bacon."

Boy this weekend was fun, but way too short. Rocking with Sonic Holiday at Uptown Friday Nights and rolling through Saturday's Ride for your Heritage and capping off the night with the LARGE Midgets on the Street of Mount Vernon. This week should be a little calmer, just volleyball on Wednesday and PMS is playing Uptown Friday Nights this week so bring out your Boogie Shoes. This coming Saturday, I'll be doing the Tour de Brew from Dirty John's Grocery in Iowa City to Milestreem Brewery in Amana, and God willing, all the way back to Iowa City. Hello everyone,

Chongo and I spent the majority of the evening updating the web site and getting our profiles lined up in this Blogger area. We are still working on ways to get more pictures up, so Stay Tuned....

This weekend coming weekend should be fun, with Uptown Friday Nights on (you guessed it) Friday night, Mahoney's Bike ride on Saturday, and Center Point Pork Days on Saturday with Swing Crew playing from 9pm to 1am. Let me know if you would like additional information on any of these.
